Yes, a little strange isn't it? You can sew as many as you want. I haven't figured out how many you would need to make a large quilt. That is just too much math for me right now. I will say, it sure is fun. Well, I am off to figure out how I want to quilt this thing.

Yeah,
I saw some one's twister a couple weeks ago, and was so impressed by it, yet too cheap to buy the actual ruler... I went into my sewing room, took a 6" square ruler, put 2 pieces of scotch tape across the back in an 'x' pattern aprox 1 inch from the end, then drew a line with a permanent marker, VIOLA'! 6 inch Twister ruler.. What an ingenious pattern!

The big one is my next one. But I need to get some good layer cakes.

Yippee I did it. I made a small 10" little quilt. I used 3 1/2" squares, and made my template from a 2 1/2" template plastic. Here's the pic. I'm so proud of myself for firgurint it out. I just used scraps, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with it. But I just thought it was so cute.

And aren't they fun? Yours turned out just too cute too. Look at my new posting of mine finished. Mine could be a large place mat or a small runner. Next I am going to venture into making one for the layer cakes.

You need to read the whole thread from the beginning and search twister or pinwheels. We can't really use the term "Twister" because that is what the gal named her original expensive template.

It came out great!!! Between you, Rhonda and rosy I am gonna have plenty to do for the next year. I made my templet for the twister last night and I'm itching to try it!!! But it has to wait.

I went to a web site and found a picture of it, and I'm sorry I don't remember which site. Then I just ran off a copy of the picture and made my own. Google lil twister ruler. I made mine smaller just because I wanted to, but I can make it larger too.
