Definately #2! The 1st isn't bad but I just can seem to get 'interested' in it, it's too random/scrappy. #2 gives you so much more to look at & study.

Pic #2 looks great & I hope you pick it. Isn't it fun to play around with blocks?

I also prefer the same color, but wouldn't mind if I can get the other one! :-)

Its difficult as they both look good, but trying to imagine them in a quilt top I prefer #2 as the same coloured blocks would pull the quilt together. Unless of course you wanted a totally random look.
