I had this quilt quilted a while back and wanted to see what ya's think and what color binding you would use??
Yellow or black? Thanks in advance.

I really like this quilt and find the quilting very different and refreshing.

I really like this quilt..it is very dramatic. In picture #2 there is a fabric in the pinwheel at the left top that is black background with white lines thru it. I think that would a great binding. It has the colors of almost all of the other fabrics and it also has black. It would also have yellow in it.

I try to do a dark binding most of the time because it hides the dirt better. For some reason the edge gets dirtier faster than the quilt. The yellow would be pretty too or the black with design as someone mentioned already. I bet you only had a scrap of it to put in your quilt? I love scrap quilts and yours is really nice!

I'd go black ... there's enough happening in the quilt, that you dont' need a coloured binding as it would take your eyes away from the rest of the quilt.

I would use yellow. Ther is a lot of black already

you asked......the binding has to be black.....unless, you make it scrappy like the stars...

I agree with the comment about the binding getting dirty quicker so would go with the black. My first impulse was yellow, though. A scrappy binding would also look good on this.

I like the quilting. It reminds me of Charismah's style.

This is a very happy quilt! I am partial to red for the binding. It will pick up on the red wedges and goes well with the black and yellow.

Black it will be. I'm donating it to April for her charity, such a wonderful cause. Intracranial Hypertension, they just lost to small childern to this illness.

Show us the backing. I think I would use black so as not to distrack from the quilt center. Very nice :thumbup:

or make a scrappy binding from all the fabrics in your quilt.
