Good Morning Ladies! I have only recently found this site and definitely love it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful so I thought I would ask your opinions on my next project. The next quilt I make is for my dad's best friend. He is in his 50s and lives by himself. He asked me to make him a quilt saying that "His grandmother made quilts but he never got one!" So he doesn't care much about pattern and colors of blue, green or both with a cream background. I have designed several options with my EQ5 and wondered which one you guys liked. There are 6 quilts total but only 3 patterns and then 2 color combos of each.

oooh... so pretty. Quilt #1 is Striking, and gets my main vote. Quilt #3 is Also beautiful, and gets my Also vote.

for me, it opened with microsoft word.

I like #3. Looks like you're not going to get much more than diverse votes here. Everyone like something different. However, all three are beautiful and will be loved. Maybe you should just make them all and let him pick. LOL

Num: 1 and 6 are my favorites but all of them are georgious.

#1 and #4 are the ones I like best. But I bet he would be pleased with any one of these.

My favorite pattern is 3 & 4...My favorite color combination is #4.....I also like #6....They are all gorgeous quilts and great color combinations!!

Sorry, can't help you, the only one I didn't really like was the second one.

I like Number 3 the best I think.

I like # 1 the best.. On the edge of the small green wee squares..there is a beige strip..can you put in a tiny green strip before that? Just kinda looks like it should be there...

#5 gets my vote - but as everyone has said, they are all great designs - you can't go wrong no matter which design you end up making :)

I Love them all! But # 1 and 6 are at the top of my list.

They are all wonderful, but I especially like #4 and #6. He'll love whatever you do, I'm sure.

I love #3 the colors are so vibrant looking.

All of them are really nice. Number 3 would be my last choice. Why don't you let him choose which one you'll make. They are all nice color and design combinations.

Wow, I can't even open it up in WordPerfect 9. It's a Word Perfect X3 document. I think because it was saved with a .doc extension it thinks it's a Word file. It won't open on my computer at all. Too bad, I would have loved to see them.

I love all of them! I think you're going to have to ask him which one he would like best...and if he's like most of my guys, you'll get an answer on the order of 'well, whichever one you want to do is ok with me'...

#2 and #6 are my favs. I like the checkerboard border - I'll need to try that some day.
