I bought a china cabinet a few weeks ago at Goodwill. I paid $80. Finally got all the fabric refolded. I emptied three of those rolling three drawer plastic chests and the overflow from everywhere else. I found fabric I didn't know I had. I love how pretty the fabrics look.
The bad thing is DH thinks we should cancel our planned stop over at Mary Jo's. NOT!!!

Your china cabinet looks so nice with all that fabric in it.
Very nice stash.

Minnesewta-sam 03-06-2011 01:27 PM

That's the perfect fabric storage piece. It looks great! Cancel your stop at Mary Jo's Cloth Store??? No way!

There is also a thread outlet store by there. Haven't been there, but read about it on website.

Oh...make sure you check the hours before you go. I know she is closed on Sundays. Not sure about the other days.

Enjoy & have a safe trip.

Well, not everything. The fat quarters are still in plastic drawers. So are the flannels, jelly rolls and layer cakes. The quilt backs did make the cabinet, they are in the two large drawers at the bottom.

How lovely! And it goes so nicely with the rest of your beautiful room. So much more elegant than those plastic bins.
