Omak Some of the fabric i got for yours has red so I will wash,,,curious to see if it bleeds....I seldom wash fabric either. I only get to add 3 inches gee...the next one is not for 2 months? Ok I will work on this soon anyway before the fabric gets buried :D

WIth all the technology around today, I don't worry about pre-washing ... plus, most quilts never see a washing machine (people being too afraid of wrecking something) so, I am thinking ... I will just send a box of color magnets when I pass them on to their final destination ...
And, knot-sew, having said all of that, I know that quilters must do what they feel led to do ... and, some of us have got to abide by their desires <g> ...

Sorry i'm running befind, my center block will go out in the mail in the
morning. Thanks for the understanding, the retreat is over the store is
set for the fall. Just one more setting for Christamas and open house
next week. But I don't do a lot of Christmas so it should go quickly.
I do most of my quilting in the winter months. Looking forward to seeing
what everyone is doing. This is my second RR and the first was a lot of fun.

I went to three fabric stores, to match it and find a good quality solid color...most solid fabric is thin. I took your center with me and spent 4 hours... now i'm ready for the next one :D

Yeah :oops: I am thinking ... all Americana blocks all over the place, the more the better! And, as I am fond of saying: America is so much because we have so many resources ... if you see something that makes you think AMERICA! It needs to be in there! LOL
If every side on every round were a different block, I would be really pleased &lt;g&gt; but, that is probably just my "scrappy" quilt side speaking ... sort of like that "blue" side ... you can sell me into anything if you color it blue! LOL

It helped, that when I went shopping at the LQS, I saw the same center hanging up on the wall ... I couldn't figure out how to open up the center, so I am hoping that the leaves in the corner will open the center up for the next quilter.

Omak that is perfect - the border echoes the stag's antlers and the corner blocks pull out the leaves of the tree. Great job. :D
