In a small village in Greece about 70 years ago my mother hand embroidery Phrixus and Helle from Greek Mythology when she was 17 years old. You need to go to a Conservator and get an appraisal on what it would cost to put acid-free mat and glass and have it framed so the air, people touching it won't ruin it. It's truly a keep-sake.
