I will be selling these at the Tymeless Hearts carnival this Sat.

These are so fun to make. I used the tut from missouri star quilt company.

Very pretty! Love the bright colors!

Just a question for you. I have some that I have sold and I have some left over. I'm sending them to Lauren for a craft fair that is coming up quickly. She has no clue what price to sell them for. I sold them on Guam for $25/pair. I could get that price for them, but have no clue what to have her price them for here.

QuiltnNan 08-18-2011 04:55 AM

how bright and colorful they are. there must be something there for everyone. good luck

cjomomma 08-18-2011 04:56 AM

Thank you everyone! I hope they sell well too!

jmabby 08-18-2011 05:00 AM

I actually asked someone who works in retail and runs her own business about pricing them and she suggested $8.50 each or 2/$15.00. It really depends on the economy in her area. If you think about it takes over a yard of fabric to make these so $8.50 for one is a reasaonable price, especially with a yard costing $5.00 or more.

These are beautiful. Very colorful. I am a vendor at about twenty craft shows per year and have also made pillow cases. If you don't mind me asking, how much do you charge per p illow case.

Quiltinvaca 08-18-2011 05:05 AM

OMG you've been busy!! They are wonderful!

Look at the post just above yours. :-D

debcavan 08-18-2011 05:26 AM

They are all too fun. I know two little boys who would like the one with the Cars fabric.

mommamac 08-18-2011 05:44 AM

great selection of fabrics - kids will be 'begging' their moms for one!

Bueniebabe 08-18-2011 05:45 AM

love all the bright colors
good job

emerald46 08-18-2011 05:46 AM

Those are wonderful. Pillowcases just made the best little gift for any age.

BeeNana 08-18-2011 05:48 AM

A big applause to wonderful work.

irishrose 08-18-2011 05:52 AM

Very pretty. You did a great job of putting fabrics together.

As for pricing, you should get double the price of the fabric. Will they sell in your area for $10? $7.50 is really low for such nice work.

Does your WalMart have more of the Gerbera Daisy fabric? I haven't seen that except in fleece for several years.

cjomomma 08-18-2011 05:56 AM

Thank you everyone!

Irishrose- honestly I don't know if WM still has it. I've been on a fabric diet so I've stayed away from the fab department. I have to go in there today so I will look and see if they still have it.

Moedeenie 08-18-2011 06:02 AM

Your pillow cases are absolutely adorable! You did such a great job coordinating the fabrics and I am sure these will be a big hit at the carnival craft show! Thanks for sharing!

Mickey1 08-18-2011 06:10 AM

They are all so fun. Mommamac is right....the kids are definitely going to want them.

Granny Quilter 08-18-2011 06:19 AM

They are beautiful. You shouldn't have any trouble selling them!

tucsonquilter 08-18-2011 06:20 AM

They are wonderful! Great work.

sunni 08-18-2011 06:20 AM

Love them :) I have some of the same fabrics GMTA!

I sell mine for 10 each or 15 if embroidered. I just finished some for someone that sent me her own fabric. I just had to make them and embroider her son's name, so I only charged her 50 for 6. I"ll post a picture later

BZEQUILTER 08-18-2011 06:30 AM

Those are great!! I agree--the kids will be begging!! Last year I made these for all my great-nieces and nephew's for their Birthdays, and also included a pillow. They all love them!! Good luck with the sale!!

Jingle 08-18-2011 06:33 AM

All are very beautiful, nice color combinations. I have made several of them from that site.

frarose 08-18-2011 06:35 AM

Very nice CJ. Good luck with the sales.

tlrnhi 08-18-2011 06:41 AM

Thanks.
I'll tell her that around $15 for a pair. She should be able to sell them for that. Most of the ones I have a kid type, so they might work.
I do need to make up some Auburn ones. She's in Auburn, Alabama and ANYTHING with AU on it sells VERY fast.
I made a quick fleece throw with some AU fabric. Got it at $4/yard, which I bought all they had at that price. One of her friends saw it and wanted one. She sold her the quilt for $50! Only cost me $20 to make it. Was a yard and 1/2 of fabric for each side, then just tied together.

Riversong 08-18-2011 06:48 AM

I love those!!! So cute! The ARE fun to make!

needles3thread 08-18-2011 06:48 AM

There is not one pillow case that is not pretty. Hope you
sell lots/all of them.

KatFish 08-18-2011 07:00 AM
