Very nice job.

I made a thread catcher in a class years ago and we used aquarium tubing...worked great. We used sand in a baggie inside the pin cushion...kept pins sharp. I used it for years and then it started leaking sand so I had to get rid of it. I keep thinking I need to make another one.

Our ASG had a class on the pincushions. Half had the straps on backwards and half had the pincushion top down. I made one smaller (will hold a small plastic container) and the large one holds a quart size. Much easier to empty. Have the large one on the cutting table and the smaller ones by machines. We used the plastic packing tape for the shape.
Love the colors you chose for your bag.

Good job. I don't know what tiles you mean from Lowe's that you're going to put in the purse but I've used the plastic canvas from Walmart for the bottoms of my purses. They work beautifully and are very light and inexpensive--two pluses in my book!
