thanks. I spend a whole day in internet looking at all play food pages I could find. But most of the time the patterns where too big or too basic so I went by try and error. Just figured out with muslin on how to get the desired shape.
It is not so hard only a lot of work.

lynnie 11-01-2010 10:38 AM

i love your food, those raviolis are awesome. i saw some in the store the other day, red and white striped, they had lobster in them.
but.... your food is awesome, where did you get the patterns, they'd make great pincushions
your dgs will love them

Love your soft foods. You are very talented and have a great eye for fabric.

Sharon - NC 11-01-2010 01:05 PM

They are sooooo cute! He will love them. My daughter's goal at age 8 or 9 or so was to be a "payer person" and we used to play "store" all the time. So cute.

Prissnboot 11-01-2010 01:14 PM

did you use a pattern or just off the top of your head? I'm planning on doing a food quilt next year, making 2D food pieces for my stepmom, who loves to cook. would love to pick your brain for ideas and suggestions......

lawsonmugs 11-01-2010 02:31 PM

those mushrooms look so real. Now for some eggs and cheese and bell pepper for a omlet.

IBQUILTIN 11-01-2010 03:37 PM

I sure like them all, especially the calorie factor

vannadine 11-01-2010 04:07 PM

These are so cute. They remind me of my kindergarten teaching days, only these look more real than some of our food did. The children loved playing with it.

Matilda 11-01-2010 04:27 PM

Very nice!! You did a great job. It looks like fun making those.
