Hello Linda, I have a question, If this is your design, are you saying we can use it for our selves ???? I have to agree with others it is beautiful and cheerful.. nice job. :)

So many ways to go in the quilting world and only so many hours in a day. I really like the piecing best of all, so I decided to just do that :) However, I do like to share the ideas here on the Quilter's Board and also on my website, where I have a "Today's Work" page that I post what I'm working on each day. Thanks!

I never mind if someone uses something I've done - I'm flattered :) It's a difficult thing for me to do something like this...a 3.5 inche square, surrounded by two inch squares and sashed with two inch squares, set on point, and say it's just my design. I cannot believe that some other quilter has never put a 3.5 inch square together with 2 inch squares before. It's what I did one day in my sewing room, by working out what squares would fit together, but surely someone else has done that as well....see what I mean??

Oh, I just answered this one from someone else. I have a hard time explaining this. If I saw a quilt made with a white 3.5 square surrounded by two inch squares, then a white strip and sashed in two inch squares, set on point, I would probably think that someone else had thought of the same quilt as I did. On such a simple quilt as this, I don't quite see how I can call it a "design" and I'm happy if it gives someone else an idea for using their scraps.
