I took a class last weekend with Judy Irish at a LQS. It was on fabric weaving. We had a blast. MUCH easier than I thought it would be. I still have to add some leaves I think and quilt it, but over all I'm happy with it. Colors are much brighter in person.
If I was to change the leaves around or add some, where do you think I should make changes? thanks for looking. Feels so good to finally post something that is (almost) finished! |
Double post - sorry

One more try to get the picture embedded. I still have to trim the stem ends at the bottom and stitch the dragonfly on. The dragonfly has wire in his wings so the wings will look like they are flying.

Wow, that's incredibly graphic. I love the 3D sunflowers.
I've always heard of her in terms of machine quilting (I've seen her FMQ and it's amazing). I didn't know she taught quilt classes as well. |
