Thanks for the encouagement.I too wish I had more of this fabric. I did mess up cutting one strip but had enough to replace it. I am sorta thinking of working some other faric in so I can make it bigger. I don't kow if I will ever make another one of these but I sure am glad that there were all the helpful people here to help me figure some things out. When I go to sewing the stirps together I amy be asking for help again. I really don't think the instructions in the OBW Encore were that great for sewing the pieces together. It has been a learning experience.

It's not a specific yardage you need. What you need is at least six repeats, with a repeat of at least 12". The large the quilt the more fabric ... but always a multiple of six repeats. And extra if you are going to want to do the back of the quilt or borders in the same fabric. |
