Oh my, simply beautiful. Reminds me of the Amish quilts we saw on a motorcycle trip across the USA from Oregon to PA. Did you strip piece it?

Cheers http://cluttergutter.com :thumbup: Yes I strip pieced it - 1 3/4 inch strips in fives and then measured an average width (turned out to 6.5 inch if I remember) then cut a bunch of black WOF strips that wide and sew both edges, right sides together to the coloured pieces then vut up with the 45 degree line on the 24 inch ruler - easy!! |

I really like the colors. How old is your daughter? She seems to have a good eye for color. I'm going to look for that book, I need to be able to finish my projects faster than I am now. I agree that it would be lovely as a baby quilt. Maybe in pastel flannels.
