I would sash them with a strip between the blocks and then different blocks in the corners where the sashing comes together.

Well I think it will be set on point with smaller stars, have the pattern just have to wait and see how it will look.

I personally would use sashing. These blocks are just beautiful, I don't believe I've ever seen this pattern before. Your fabric choices are great, I especially love the 1930's fabriic.

I would love to set them" on point" with no sashing......

very nice I would go with a plaine color for the sashing, the sashing would make each square more outstanding

Beautiful blocks! The white opens the star up enough that I don't think sashing is needed. However, it may look stunning, too. Audition some solids and see if framing the star is the way to go. I absolutely love these fabrics and the way you've put them together in this clever star block. Can't wait to see the entire quilt!
