I think no sashing. I love white areas to quilt in. However, if it isn't big enough for the use you have in mind - there are two choices. Sashing or more blocks. These blocks are beautiful!

I would not put sashing. I would do a scrappy border. Your blocks are beautiful.

What a neat pattern! I personally would not use sashing, just think of all the great quilting you could do in the "blank " spaces.
BTW, can you share where I could get this pattern too?

Thank you, the pattern is in a book, 50 PP stars by Carol Doak, it comes with a CD.

either would be fine...Sashing would frame your blocks..
