You're on the right track, I think. There's a lot of yellow and with such a variety of blocks all the same color they don't all get their "day in the sun" so to speak without something setting the apart. I don't think it matter what color sashing you use. Good luck and please show up the finished product. Your blocks are great!

Very pretty quilt i thin it needs sashing a med dark color that will make the yelllow stand out

Beautiful quilt. I think I would go with a silvery gray cut one inch and sewn 1/2 inch then it would look like tiles. Beautiful work

I would definitely sash, but the color depends on who it is for. Blue, green, brown, even a grey.

I've seen a purple/yellow fabric (purple pansies with yellow centers) in shops that'd be quite pretty if you can find it. Also, marguerite daisy fabric that's yellow/white with a dark green/black background would work with green cornerstones.

I saw some really pretty yellow/red/green floral on Hobby Lobbys site last night. Im hoping they have it in the store in
Columbia when I go over there next time. I think it would set the yellow/white blocks off..maybe with a small dark border on the outside of the sashing? Thank you ALL for your wonderful ideas!! |

A darker gold would be nice for sashing. Lovely blocks!

Personally I would lay out all my different colors and see what goes best. These blocks are just beautiful, you did a really good job piecing them all. I do think you have to be careful what sashing color you use or that beautiful white white will look dingy. I know there has to be something that just looks perfect, be sure and show us when you are finished.

You've made beautiful blocks. I would take them to a fabric store and lay some out on different colours and choose from there. I find what I think and what works when you do that are often very different. Good luck and I look forward to seeing what you decide.

I think it needs sashing as well. But I would leave it a two color quilt and go with white or yellow. This would give a more traditional look.
