I will go for golden brown.

I wouldn't have thought of aqua, but I think that would be gorgeous, or else a lilac/lavender. Those could also be colors included in a small floral print. Could I ask the name of the fabric line of the yellow fabric----I LOVE IT. Beautiful blocks!

I would definitely sash and audition a few colors to see what works best.

Tericat, not sure of the name but I actually found it at a Wal Mart in Columbia Mo! I cant imagine it with aqua but am definately going to take a couple of blocks to a fabric store with me and try different colors! I dont want to take away from the beautiful blocks the ladies made, want to make them stand out as much as possible...did I mention sashing is the hardest part of quilting for me?? LOL

I would pick up the darker gold color in the quilt or the background color and bind with the darker gold. Seems to me, odd if you pick up another color, when it isn't anywhere in the quilt. IMHO I really like your quilt. IREAD THE THREAD WRONG. SASHING! I would be in the same quandry. Sorry I misread the question.

I immediately thought aqua as well. I love the contrast, and it will make the quilt seem very light and airy.

Sashing definitely. And I would use white. I'd quilt it with a bright gold thread.

Well after much debate and trial I settled on this for my sashing. I tried yellow, aqua, green, red, white and didn't stand out too well so picked a black with ALL the colors in it and colored blocks in the middle. Thank you ALL for your suggestions. The green was my 2nd choice but it just didn't strike a note with me...Hope my granddaughter likes it!

I think a pearly grey would be nice and finish with the yellow.
