red is great, but with a smaller width of the sashing,even if you group 4 blocks,,this wide sashing over shadows the beautiful blocks.. great job.

Red!!

I have always been partial to black sashing because it generally makes the blocks "pop", but in this case I really think the red is perfect as sashing for these blocks. Can't wait to see what you decide and the finished quilt.
