I really like this idea. It would be interesting to make a block(s) after each project and use them to make a lap quilt or something. This would tame scrap collections.

I don't do much in the way of scrap quilting so I'm wondering how you pick your fabrics. Do you just grab & sew or is there a method to your technique? Everyone's scrappy quilts look so "planned" and the few things I've done with scraps look like just that....scraps. :eek:

I am just pulling all the little scraps out of my scrap bin. I have a pile on my table and just grab what fits. If you notice on my block, there are 3 pieces of the cream with little stars close together but I can live with it.
