Looking good so far.
I am trying to use up red,white and blue scraps. I have strips different lengths and widths. I sewed them together and trimming to 8-1/2". I have some squares I have trimmed to 8-1/2". I will try for a pleasing arrangement. It will be for donation. |
I like it! I love scrappy quilts. I've been saving all my scraps and can't wait to put one together. I like how yours can use some pretty small pieces.

Tartan, I like the black strips. For your next block, will you abut it at a 90 degree angle to this one, or are you planning
to have them all join vertically? Just curious what the pattern in your mind is. |

Zozee, my original idea was to turn them every other block but I think I will do all the black strips verticle. Here are 2 blocks together with the 1 inch strip between them but not sewn in yet.[ATTACH=CONFIG]569453[/ATTACH]
