Your quilts are beautiful! She didn't mean to hurt your feelings and one day will be asking you to make her a scrappy quilt (or 2, 3)! The last one on the pic above (looks like the sashing is a light or white color) -- is there a pattern for that? I think I have some scraps I could use to make one like that. Thanks in advance! |

DH offered to give the local animal shelter a quilt to help the spay/neuter program. Turns out, I'd already given my dog quilt to a charity for kids. I got discouraged while I was making this, which is scraps around fussy cut kittens (those were someone else's scrap). My LQS had a special on a cat panel, so I mad the shelter that quilt, then went on to finish this one, so they get to raffle 2. kittens in the garden [ATTACH=CONFIG]270642[/ATTACH] |

I love the first on the Strip Twist that is so cute. I am working on my first scrappy quilt I have the top completed with my odds and ends, I have used many of the left overs from my daughter's clothes I made when she was a toddler, she's 5 now. I love it because I have such fond memories of the materials used. I am sure you feel the same. So here is my quilt top...thank you for allowing me to share it with you!
