I have been trying to use up some of my stash - and made these two. One has sayings inside piece and used a pile of calico and small florals. The second one is a sawbuzz with a pinwheel center. Saw a picture and fell in love with it. One small drawer empty!!

I used jelly rolls for the first one and the leftovers went into a baby blanket.

Loving all the latest scrappy quilts everyone has posted pictures of. Wow! They are all beautiful!

Really amazing quilts everyone! I am drawn to the red one in post 3765.

I really, really, really, love scrappy quilts and these are so beautiful; love those string quilts. I'm making crazy blocks now, but am getting kind of tired of them, ready to get back to just string quilt blocks. Thanks for the newest postings; I love looking at them.

Saw a posting this morning for a Carol Doaks 50 Stars PP. She did an impressive job. In 2012 PokerDiva hosted a block a week from this book. I only did 25 because I wanted a lap, but will share mine here.

Guess since they are controlled scrappy I can post them here. Also been busy keeping up w/Bonnie Hunter's last 3 mysteries, Allietaire (front & back), En Provence (front & back), On Ringo Lake (front & back), and from her pattern Razzle Dazzle which I started on an Alaskan inland passage cruise she taught on a few years back and just finished yesterday (front & back)… Wow, it's been longer than I thought since I kept up here :)

Baby Quilt
3 Attachment(s)
This is the fifth baby quilt that I have made for our guild's charity drive in the last two months. This one was totally from scraps. It's the Falling Charms pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KkpbFKBaKA&t=2s

Little quilt using crumbs. It started as an experiment using dryer sheets as a foundation. I also tried out some embroidery patterns on my new machine. Quilting it was a bear! I think the dryer sheets made it slippery between the layers, and I did not anticipate that. Had I known, I may have used spray basting glue.
