HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I received a great birthday gift from my angel today. A really happy panel of fabric with love, laugh, smile and all kinds of happy pictures printed all over it. I also received some beautiful embossed stationery and a pen to write the notes with. Also got two cuts of fabric and some yummy smelling body wash and some napkins with butterflies. I've never seen any like them before but they're very sweet. BTW Angel don't worry about the timing. I had a typical Monday and when I saw the package waiting at my front door I forgot all about the yucky day I just had so the timing couldn't have been more perfect. I'll keep you in my prayers because it sounds like you have a whole lot of life going on at your house. Thanks again for the great birthday gift.

Hello my Angel- Just wanted to let you know that I recv your package before I went to Alaska. I will post pics soon. I tried to get on wifi while I was out there but it didn't work out to well.

I got a wonderful surprize package from my Serena Quiliana Annjel today!! I was so excited, not only did it have an Anniversary card addressed to me and my #1 man..it had a birthday card for me later this month. I am still in awe of the unbelievably wonderful angel that was included....look ya'll....I'm pretty sure she MADE this!!! She is beautiful...even my DH was impressed!!

To top that off..the package also had a great little manicure kit, a pattern for a cotton top and a pattern to crochet some stash baskets. (She must know that I can use some help in organizing things). Anyway..I do know how to croquet and these look really cool, so maybe after some projects get off the table, I can try one or three of these :lol:

I know this gets said time and again on this board but it bears repeating! The people who make up this online quilting, teaching, sharing, & caring friendship - are simply some of the best most kind hearted people I have ever seen!

Chrickette is doing real good. Went to the doctor last Wed and he said she could start driving and trying to get back to normal but to go slow and easy at it. She went to Mass yesterday and came over to my house today for a little while as she went to get some perscriptions filled and had to wait and I only live 6 blocks from drug store she goes to. We drove over to look at house I hope to buy. I was telling her I need to get package off to my secret quilt angel and after she left I went to mail box about hour later and low and behold there was package in it from my Angel. She must have ESP and knew I was thinking about Angels. It had a neat book about Chocolate....some chocolate fat quarters (white choc, milk choc and dark choc), some scrap booking decals/stickers about chocolates/sweets and a sweet note. She said she wasn't going to mail chocolate since it has been so hot cause worried it might melt so decided on next best things. It was awesome. And boy was she right about melting. We have been having some bodacious weather around here. Just sweltering!!!! I have never been one for naps and love to mow my own yard but this year the heat has really been getting to me and I fall asleep every time I crawl in to my recliner to rest and cool off. Not like me at all. Either it is the heat or I am really getting old!!! Gotta be the heat cause I'm still a young spring chicken. (smile) Thanks Angel for all the goodies....you're the absolute world's best angel. You really made my day! Love you.

I got a wonderful gift last week! I was waiting to post pitcures but my camera is still MIA!! But I got some wonderful fabric, a tea cup and coaster, candles and candle holder! Thank you SQA!

Awwwww I have the best SQA ever. My "baby" (22) left for her summer job and made me a bit blue like always and my SQA was so thoughtful and sent me this beautiful pink elephant fabric to help me remember her beauty to keep me happy. Thank you so much Angel. You are truely the greatest.

I'm mailing out a package to my Angelee today, I think of her often, but it has been awhile since I have sent anything.

I was just sitting here thinking of my Angel and wanted her to know I think of her often and with great joy. Her pkgs. always seem to arrive just when I need a pick-me up. I alway's appreciate all the items you send. I know you spend alot of time and thought choosing your items for me. Hope you are staying cool and you are not in any of this flooding going on. I hope you are feeling better and your life is calming down a bit.

Yup, me too. The last package I got was last month, right after Alex was born, and I cried when I opened the package. I'm a hormonal mess right now, lol, but the little gifts ALWAYS make me feel so much more special!

I agree. I think about my angel and her family all the time. I hear from my angel almost every week. She has an e-mail address that we send letters back and forth too each other. Can;t wait to meet her in Florida this winter and spend the day with her. This is an awesome thing that US ANGELS have started. PS I sent my angel something this week too.

Gee this thread has gotten very quiet...I have been off line several days and I only missed about 10 messages.
There are a lot of angels out of this country so you can't expect to hear to offten....Mine is one of these and I have heard only 4 times this year, but its very special when i do. I imagine she has only heard a few times also. International is expensive for postage....... ;)

I haven't heard from my angel yet this month but don't get me wrong I am not complaining at all. My angel has sent me wonderful gifts that have surprised me everytime. I just wish that I could send my angel something or even just a thank you card but she is VERY VERY sneaky and always uses my addy for the return!!

So I hope she knows that appreciate everything that she sends me and I can't wait to thank her when this is over!!

my angel has been just wonderful the packages have brightened my life---still owe a pic of the last package and the letters are so wonderful on one writes anymore so it make letters and cards even more special to me

as for my angelee something just went out what i wont say i have more fun shopping for you and i hope you enjoy what i have been sending as much as i have hunting for things to send

I received a lovely card with matching fabric crayons! I've seen them in stores but not bought them, so now is the time to try something new! My daughter and I thank you SQA for your thoughtfulness!

I would wait to see what the balance of them look like. I saw a quilt that had blocks "framed" with "wood grain fabric" it made each one look like a little picture. Who knows, maybe she has already picked out the sashing fabric for you!! :roll: :roll:

Now I am wonder if my Angelee has received the pressies that was mailed last week and she hasn't posted or is it lost? I am also concerned because that same day a crochet throw was mailed to a friend. The throw took me a few months to make and I haven't heard that she received that either. When the church lady went to the post office they gave her a hard time about it, I HAD to have my real return addy on it. For those who didn't play in SS I was Stars SS and one of her packages was opend and gone threw and THROWN back into the box. Sad because I put time into making it pretty. I guess I will give it a few more days.

I hope my SQA is OK she is like clock work and I always receive something wonderful the first week of the month and I have yet to receive anything. Not that I expect anything but when something is off as with a neighbor's newpapers piling up in the driveway I wonder if everything is OK. If anyone knows my SQA please send me a PM so I know that she is OK or if something is wrong. I would really appreciate it. thanks

Well, I haven't been on this thread in a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time (since early May), but have been keeping in touch with my Angelee via e-mail. Sent her a package recently, but I see she hasn't posted about it yet. Perhaps the PO is being it's own, natural ugly self? Hope not; I will wait to hear.

Nothing since last month from my Angel, either. Hoping she is well and just happily busy!

I think everyone is busy both Angels and Angelees Summer brings on Vacations, family events, holiday, yard work, out door activities ect. I know I have been crazy busy. I'm trying to do the catch up thing this weekend but it seems someone or someting comes up or over. But I do want my Angelee to know I think about her and my Angel too.
