i received a special package from an angel yesturday :)
it had a jar of crabapple butter (YUMMY!!!) That she made :)
a very nice card and 3 new fq's of repo fab's for my applique projects !!1

Nancy, love your lizard/frog gifts but that spider thing.. that has to go! I moved to AZ for a few years and I distinctly recall waking up for the first time, looking up at the wall behind my headboard and seeing a spider of that size about 6 feet above my head. I almost died. Give me a snake, any other bug, a mouse/rat no problemo.. I used to croak at the ones in CA that were oh the size of a dime. A dinner plate sized one? ah heck no. I became close and personal friends with my bug man and thankfully only had one more experience like that. Ok.. back to the subject. Great gifts, love the books and that how not to clean book is coffee table stuff! I too am planning my next package out.. I can see that I need to get on it. I believe it was posted here there if secret friend day coming up? glue some wings on that card and .. (no I am not putting wings on the card so you can figure out who I am!).

Crafty1- i bought that calendar for myselfit is a good one!! has all the patterns. you lucky girl!

I am sorry cant post a picture but wanted to say "thank you Secret Sister your present today was really needed. Feeling really low and that perked me up. Love chocolate and tea both but I am a real lover of tea so much. Why I am down, well on Sunday we had an accident with our RV while moving in to another site in the park and it is in pretty bad shape. It may even be totalled by the insurance company. That is why i am very stressed waiting for the estimate from the company to fix it then what is the insurance going to say. Waiting for others is torcher so the presernt today was really appreciated. I received another gift today from my SQA! Thank you, thank you! I love Choc oranges and have not found any this year. Just said to DH yesterday, we need to look again.

Awww thanks! Her name is Luckie and she just turned 5 :) She loves to be cuddled and she's so spoiled.

She is so cute. I just want to squeeze her. LOL. I have a black lab cross and she is loveable but not fluffy and small.

i have this problem just like i do when i write a letter it never gets mailed now i am collecting for mu angelee and think just one more thing but i did get one package off now to get the next one finished

I am not sure if I received a gift from my quilt angel... I received some blue and yellow teddy bear fabric in the mail. I thought it was a donation for Downy quilts, but I found out it wasn't. If it was, thank you very much!!! It is beautiful. I am still looking for my camera cord to post pictures of my beautiful fabric :D:D:D

My SQA sent a wonderful squishy with 10 pieces of Homespun fabric, an herb calendar, a counted x-stitch bear, a bag of little bags to put little goodies in (really smart and she must have known I was looking for just such a bag(s) the other day to put some buttons in), and the piece 'de resistance - Ghiradelli dark chocolate bar. I'm in hog heaven. Gosh, it was such a nice surprise.

Received a gift from my SQA today! She sent a "Quilting For Dummies" book (this will help a lot) and a pretty piece of blue and white fabric. SQA I just want to say THANK YOU. I absolutely love it.

great package love the homespuns. I planted herbs one year with the help of gransons....they threw out the marker tags....gram did not know what the heck they were lol :oops:
I do have a lot of chives...good for salads and mashed potatoes

i think it's more fun to just wonder who our sqa is rather than finding out. i have the second package ready to mail to my angelee - i'm excited about her getting it and seeing how she likes it.

I have another package to go also. And I am not trying to figure out who my angel is. I just want to enjoy these special packages for now and when the time is done hope to have a special friendship waiting for me. I have my snowmen salr and pepper shakers in the front of display so I CAN LOOK AT THEM EVERY DAY.
