Arrived home to a wonderful SQA package :)

My very thoughtful Angel packed a gift bag for my DH's birthday, with a travel mug, hot chocolate & coffee packets and fun little bunnies with candies and a nice card!

For me there were more candy-bunnies (they're cute pink with the best ears and a huge smile), a notepad with cheery bright circles around the outside ... and four absolutely splendid fabrics - bright striped geometric stripes - oh these will be wonderful in a nice spring project!

I received a Easter package from my SQA. How did she know that I love chocolate and carmel together. YUMMY. Almost gone now lol. A Moda charm pack by Fig Tree Quilts "Dandelion Girl" such nice soft colors. I usually do brights and batiks so this will be a change for me.
Very nice card and a jar candle for the kitchen. Apple pie and it smells so delicious that I am going to have to make myself a pie this week.

well barsbus, you do be sure and get plenty of rest, because that can all be very serious so glad ur going back to doctor tomorrow, i'm sure he'll get u over this as long as you don't try to do too much.

I heard from my SQA. She and I are both new at this. She sent me a very nice note saying she just needed a little more time to get a package together. I want her to know that I totally understand. I had to hustle to get a package together for my SQA. But thankfully SQA's are always a WIP. What FUN, another excuse to shop.

Yesterday was a double treat day! I received a cute card in the mail that was very thoughtful. Silly Angel you dont need to worry about packages. I still have (ok HAD) Aprils to open! I had a cute piece of baby blue fabric with little kitties on it and a little collectable tin with a kitty on it and sewing needles inside. It was a double yahoo kinda day. I had forgot about that package and had put it up on a bookshelf so I wouldnt be tempted to open it early. When the card came the good old dim lightbulb went on and TADA! Presents too!! So thank you for your kindness and your sweet gifts. Hugs and more hugs. Thank you again.

An awesome hand-made pincushion, a new seam ripper (so much better than my old one!), yards and yards of fun, funky fabric, and fabric to make my new nephew a blankie!!

I need to learn how to post pictures. I can;t do it at home because of another program on my puter. I just planted the posies my Angel Francis sent me. Cam;t wait to see how or if they grow. I don;t have a very green thumb. I know she would be happy to see them posted. I am retreating this weekend with the great fabric she sent me for Easter. Got the Connecting threads catalog today. Ty Secret Angel,so sorry I totally forgot about my parcel as I was saving it for Easter and I was so busy with company,I never went into my sewing room till today,sadly not to sew but to look for a book.I received a beautiful tin and in the tin was 3 beautiful pieces of fabric,flower salt and pepper shakers,a deluxe pie kit,a beautiful little Easter wall hanging plus a creme egg,Thankyou again for being so thoughtful.I sure hope I get a camera for Motheres Day. as daughter keeps forgetting to bring hers.

Oh gosh, what a great day! I had a surprize package in the mailbox..DH said, "wow...more chickens!!" (I'm getting the flock in for the funky chicken swap...I told him, yup...I've got several more packages due to come in. But then...I looked at the package and it says..."From your SQA"..!!! Yippee!!!!

Thank you sooo much SQA!! I got some really cute spring fabric, some post its and the cutest light up pen you've ever seen AND a chocolate Easter bunny! And...yes, and...a lovely card. Thank you sooo very much for thinking of me....It just made my day!! :D :D

OH!!!I'm so excited, I came home from work tonight and I had another gift from my SQA! It is so pretty, I got the cutest bunny fabric 1 yard,then a great tulip wall hanging kit(my absolute favorite flower and favorite color pink)also a Quiltmaker magazine.There is a bunny wall hanging in it I'm going to use the bunny fabric on,Thank-You sooooooooo much my Angel you are the greatest!!!I love it all. Will post pictures as soon as I can get them loaded onto the computor.

My Angel's Easter package was very calmly sitting on the hutch for more than a week, waiting patiently while I tried not to think about it there. When I opened it on Easter, there was a lovely "Sweet Magnolia" sachet (will go in the bedroom closet which is very large and can always use something to gently perfume it), a lovely daisy-embroidered drawstring bag with some chocolates in it, and a To-do list and worm book light by smiggle. I love that best of all, I think, because I seem to have difficulty keeping track of all my projects that are due. The coolest thing is that the list is spiral-bound, with an easel-folded back cover, so I can prop it up on the sewing table and see at a glance what is done, what needs to be done, what is coming up, etc. And of course, a lovely Easter card with daffodils on it. So pretty and yellow is my favorite color.

Thanks Angel, you're spoiling me!

Here's my pics. Sorry for not getting the pics in sooner. Such pretty plaid napkins; there was some chocolate fudge and some chocolate balls but, ummm, they no longer exist :oops: :lol: , and a neat little thread razor which I may just have to try out this weeend. All contained within the cute little bunny basket and a great card saying 'Hi".

I forgot all about it.............I got a pressie on Saturday just as my son walked through the door. It had SQA as the return addy. DS was starving so I put the pressie in a bin with fabric, I just now went to get out fabric and I found my pressie. Thank you so mcuh and sorry this is late. I love the jelly roll I know exactly what I am doing with it. I have appliqued butterflies on different colored solid fabric. The butterflies are all the same fabric black with little flowers. I didn't know what to do with them since they looked so plain however I will put a border around each block using the jelly roll, I know it will now be beautiful. I also got CW fabric, love it!!!!!! And how did you know I embroider??????? You are a sneaky angel. Thanks you sooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!
