I have to agree with you completely. Raptureready. Everyone is so happy to hear from Marsye and your avatar, Marsye,
right now, is very pretty. I can tell by your smile that I'd love to know you personally. I sew really often with a great bunch of ladies and we are all a little crazy and have so much fun. You would certainly fit right in.

Your machine was made September 20, 1948 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. They made 35,000 of the model 15s.

We've all "Gone Natural" so that we can get to know each other....it's kinda fun, actually!!

It looks like mine, a 15-91. If it does not have a belt, then it is a 19-91. There is a website to ID old Singers.

In 1980 I went to a garage sale & bought a 1960 Singer. It looks just like yours. I used it for every thing until about 8 years ago. DD has it now. She lives in FL. She doesn't know how to thread it so she hasn't used it in a few years. When she lived at home she didn't want to learn from me. Now she has children & wants to learn but we're separated by half the country.
