My daughter asked me to make DGD a sweater since the weather is turning cooler (in NH). I've only made a few infant sweaters and this was my first attempt at a toddler size; hope it fits!
Thanks for looking ... and now back to quilting! |
Very nice! Lucky little one :o)
Really cute - looks like it will keep him warm.
Oh that is sooooo cute!! Is that knitting or crocheting?

Lynne,
It is so adorable! That was incredibly fast too! You must be a master!LOL |
So sweet: I also crochet and lots of other things but enjoy quilting the most: I made a sweater for my GR GD and she had it on the other night::: So cute:::

How cute! I can only knit a scarf and I've been knitting it for two winters.
Very cute. Your granddaughter will love it! I don't do a lot of knitting. I made one adult size sweater and an afghan years ago. Now I stick to hats for the hospital.

Lynne, I used to live in Nashua & really miss NH, especially this time of year. Columbus Day was the worst traffic dayback then as all the leaf-peepers were coming back down from up north & all roads led right through Nashua. I took the day off so as to not have to deal with the traffic. The colors were more beautiful than anywhere else in the country. Swamp maples made the hills look like they were on fire!!!!
Sweater is so cute. Nice job! I knit, but don't enjoy it all that much any more - arthritis hurst too much with the needles. |
Oh what a lovely sweater! Looks warm and comfie too!
oh, how cute!! :D
I knit dishcloths and how many of those do you need? That is my Christmas gift to everybody whether they need them or not! Wish I could do beautiful things like that sweater!
very cute!!
That's fantastic. You did a great job. It looks so nice and warm. Do you want my size in case you need to take another break from quilting? :)
Beautiful...thanks for sharing. Always nice to take a break from quilting for a short time anyway.
Great sweater! :)
Nice!! that will keep someone warm.
I can knit but I am sooooo slow. I recently saw a child's sweater knitted with no seams. I thought, "how did they do that?" Your sweater is very nice and will be in use soon I bet.
So very cute.
Love the hooded sweater.
Talented!

Thanks for looking ... and now back to quilting! I do not see how anyone can do something like that it looks so intricate and WOW!! There is no way I could even try to attempt something like that. Billy |

Nice job! I like to take an occasional break to crochet or knit.
Very cute.
So cute. Be sure to post a photo with your DGD in it.
Great job - looks nice and warm.

This sweater is GREAT! About what size did it turn out to be? I have an 18 month old grandson in Alaska---might be an awesome birthday gift for him. Did you have a pattern or did you just adapt it from another pattern?
