Great colors and pretty quilt! The sashing makes it pop!

bobolee 04-27-2011 03:44 AM

I love the sashing! It adds so much color.

CindyGruen 04-27-2011 03:46 AM

I really like it alot with the sashing.

yonnikka 04-27-2011 03:47 AM

To cut those butterflies into strips so slim as to chop them to bits would be a shame, a waste of beautiful fabric. Either make the Sashing wide enough to display the beautiful butterflies properly, or use a different fabric altogether.

luvstitches 04-27-2011 03:48 AM

No sashing because it's going to look awesome with the quilting between the pinwheels.
Both ways are pretty though. Beautiful quilt.

DeeBooper 04-27-2011 04:01 AM

definitely sash it!!!!! Love your color choice!

It's soooooo pretty!
With or without it's a winner. I think I would do the sashing you have the perfect fabric .

PS Stitcher 04-27-2011 04:10 AM

Great colors! My vote is to sash!

MaryAnnMc 04-27-2011 04:11 AM

Hmm... tough choice, they are both lovely. I say "no sashing".

GGrammie 04-27-2011 04:17 AM

I made one for DGGS....I sashed it...Use 2 inch sashing.

But either way..I think your both look great.

mummadee 04-27-2011 04:20 AM

I just seem to be partial to sashing. It just seems to give it an extra coordinated look, but both are striking. Good job!

#1piecemaker 04-27-2011 04:27 AM

It is pretty both ways. But, I think I'd opt for the sashing.

Weenween 04-27-2011 04:31 AM

SASH They both are cute but the sash makes the pinwheels stand out.The colors on the pinwheels shows up better I think.

majormom 04-27-2011 05:16 AM

If it were me, I would sash. I think the sashing is very pretty. Funny enough I'm working on a quilt that I think sashing will help and so that's what I'm going to do. That is a very pretty quilt. I love the colors you chose.
