I am making a 3-d pinwheel quilt for my granddaughter. I can't decide if I should sash each block or not. Any suggestions?

The print fabric will also be the backing. Thanks!

they both look fabulous; i think it's all up to you what you like the best...so hard to make those decisions! i think i like the one WITH the sashing the best tho if i had to pick. either way, it's going to be a beauty!

Tough call...it's pretty both ways! Do you need it to be bigger? If so, you can add the sashing. It will be beautiful whichever way you choose to finish it.

I like it WITH sashing. The fabric you've chosen pulls all the pinwheel colors together. But in the end, whatever looks good to you is what counts.

They look beautiful both ways, but I would do sashing just to add a little more to the size. I like oversized blankets myself

I say go with the sashing, too. I think it helps tie in the border and it is such soft, pastel looking fabric. Please show us when it is finished. Lucky baby!

It's great both ways but I love the sashing, it adds a little zing to it.

My preference would be with sashing, but both ways are very pretty....I'd probably choose sashing if I wanted to make it bigger. Whatever you decide, it will be pretty!!
