Simply Woven, finished!
 

I finally got this quilted and bound. I used an ivy border design diagonally across the quilt, with gray monofilament thread. Because I used un-prewashed batik strips and backing, I brought the finished quilt to the laundromat to use their big machine. Somewhere over the rainbow is what I thought of when I saw these beautiful colors. I too will make a quilt with unwashed batiks so I like your idea of using the laundromat washer for the first wash of the new fabrics! I will remember that idea. Thank you!
