These are so pretty. Just had to share. Mr Honeybee is enjoying them too. If all those blooms make squash everybody can come to supper.

That is so cool... I had a friend that would make Greek pancakes out of the blossoms. They were great.

yes they are pretty, if you don't see the squash already behind the bloom then they're males, you'll probably have a lot more of them than females but that's ok .
i saw on a cooking show where they battered and fried the young blooms but it sounds like too much trouble for me!

Kathy, I didn't know that. Perhaps that is why I don't get many squash.

I just love the blossom pictures!

Hope you have both male and female plants. Ours had beautiful blooms last year just like yours but we only had one sex and they didn't produce any fruit. Wish you a lot of luck.

I pick everyday. If you will notice in one of the pics there is a little zucchini in the bottom. I have both zucchini & yellow crookneck. DH loves fried squas & we also have 22 tomato plants. Guess you can guess what I will be doing this summer.
