Stamp quilt

This quilt is queen size, it was supposed to be a king for my bed, but didn't quite make it. I love the finished quilt but not sure I will ever make another.

Wow, such a nice quilt !

IrishMom 06-19-2018 06:32 AM

Oooh, I've pinned so many scrappy postage stamp quilts on Pinterest. I'm rather jealous that you have completed one! And it's such a gorgeous one! You should make that your avatar.

zozee 06-19-2018 07:04 AM

Love it! Three months only? Great work! You're speedy.

Jordan 06-19-2018 08:09 AM

Beautiful quilt and really love the quilting in the border. That must have taken a lot of patience. Wonderful work

Quilter 53 06-19-2018 08:19 AM

There's no "cheating" involved when using the method shown in the link. It's the only sane way to do it, or maybe that's the only way to stay sane while you do it. LOL
Beautiful quilt! It's been on my bucket list for awhile.

LindaMRB 06-19-2018 09:01 AM

Lots of nice points there and a wonderful finished product but, yeah, not sure I would ever do that again!!!

Jinney 06-19-2018 09:17 AM

WOW! I could never tackle something like that. Give yourself a big pat on the back!

meyert 06-19-2018 02:50 PM

that quilt is great!! makes me want to make one :)

clses 06-19-2018 02:57 PM

It is elegant.
You really should make another.

Jingle 06-19-2018 04:30 PM

A really gorgeous quilt. Sewing the strips together would be the fastest and easiest way to make it.

Tiggersmom 06-19-2018 04:36 PM

I admire you for doing this! I did a 12x12 and stopped there for one of those standing display things.

jmoore 06-20-2018 03:30 AM

Wow is right...look at all those little pieces. Beautifully quilted too.

Geri B 06-20-2018 03:49 AM

You didn't cheat, you just did it in an updated technique-and its beautiful. Reading the tute makes me want to attempt one! Great way to use pieces to small for much more......

ArtsyOne 06-20-2018 05:51 AM

Yikes! You completed this in only 3 months? Absolutely beautiful. I'm very impressed that you finished it - I completed a 12" section and thought I'd tear my hair out. I bow to you ;o)

retiredteacher09 06-20-2018 06:18 AM

Beautiful! I can't imagine all of the work that went into finishing it but it certainly was worth it!

trolleystation 06-20-2018 06:46 AM

That is definitely a 'once in a lifetime' project.

Oh, I agree! You are still handling really small pieces. I did one usinf 2 and1/2 inch squares. That was small enough for me! LOL
