sewnsewer2: I love that "scrappy" quilt. Does it need a home??????? I would love to have that pattern, I need to make a wedding quilt and I want to do it scrappy. Is it easy? How about you just send me that one and I'll slap on a label (LOL) |
Your quilt came out great! I think you've served as an inspiration to all of us--seems like everyone is planning a scrappy quilt, but it gets put on the back burner--until someone posts a beautiful one like yours!

Good Morning,do you have a pattern for this wonderful quilt? I am still in the dark agaes on how todownload.

I love your string quilt! Did you just make the foundation pieces, cut apart and put back together to get the blocks? I want to know how to get the blocks, as I have a clothes hamper full of scraps and strings and am getting anxious to start a string quilt.
I have made blocks for borders, but not a complete quilt. Thanks for sharing. I am: marta for chat room; email is; [email protected] |

I'm a matchy person too and I did a string quilt last year and so fell in love with it. I can hardly wait till I get some of my current projects done so I can do another. Aren't they sharp looking? You did a good job. Love it.

Google string quilt pattern . They give you good instructions. Instead of paper foundation the next one I will do on muslin

I'm thinking of doing one of these (one day, LOL) - what are the advantages of paper or muslin for the foundation?
