Funny. Where I'm from they call those yams. Gotta have some on hand all the time, they're a staple at my house. You' d think anything but "yams" when cut and pieced. Beautiful, rich color.

I'd leave it at the fabric store!!! Even though I come from a potato growing state I hate potatoes of any kind. LOL

You could make pot holders, placemats or one of those potato things for the microwave. Sorry, can't remember the name, long day..

What would I do. First I would say where did you buy it because I was born in the sweetpotato capital of the world ( Vardarman, MS) and I need some of that fabric . then make a pantry or pie safe quilt

Not sure I would recognize the sweet potatoes, but I like the colors for fall projects.

You could make kitchen hot mitts, trim kitchen towels, microwave fabric bowls.
