Beautiful! And yes, perhaps just a little OCD? Thanks for sharing your talent!!

Carlannie 09-05-2011 05:31 AM

It's good to be organized - saves a bunch of time and makes you feel good, too. Great worksmanship - five stars for you!

Are you an engineer? Just the way your sicssors are all line up in their individual drawers reminded me of my dad! An architectural engineer and an excellent woodworker, too. LOVE the case!

girliegirl 09-05-2011 05:50 AM

awesome!

carolynjo 09-05-2011 05:58 AM

How beautiful! What a wonderful supply of threads, notions, etc., and how lucky you can keep them out of sight in such a lovely piece of furniture. Envy!Envy!Envy!

PieceandLuv 09-05-2011 06:00 AM

Oh my goodness. What a beautiful cabinet and sooo organized!

gigi10 09-05-2011 06:29 AM

John, I knew it. You don't even look like you are in your 70's. Your talent is amazing, as I knew it would be. I can see you being really busy in the future. Good Job.

wvdek 09-05-2011 06:31 AM

Pardon me while I wipe away the drool.

One of my fav woods, too.

If I had that piece of furniture, I would be that organized too. I seem to get more anal about certain things the older I get. Hate to run around wasting time looking for things and don't have the money to buy new so have to stay organized. And if your scissors are all laid out the same direction, you can reach right in and start using. Love it.

tlpa 09-05-2011 06:31 AM

wow!

davis2se 09-05-2011 06:31 AM

Gosh, I'd pay good money for something like that. If you get tired of sewing I'd suggest you market you woodworking skills!! And please let us on the board know if that ever happens.

Gayle 09-05-2011 06:31 AM

Oh my goodness!

jquilts75 09-05-2011 06:38 AM

Wow, love that thread holder and
wow it is neat too!

themachinelady 09-05-2011 06:44 AM

I do believe you could start another business with making those thread cabinets. It is beautiful! Good organization is great, but I don't have it, mainly because I don't have a sewing room (at least that is my excuse for now). You have made a beautiful and very useful piece of furniture there.

Mariposa 09-05-2011 06:46 AM

Wow is an understatement! You do wonderful work!! Beautiful cabinet!

I wonder 09-05-2011 06:49 AM

You wouldn't, by any chance, be planning a trip to SW Indiana would you? I have a nice big garage, lots of tools...

Lyncat 09-05-2011 07:11 AM

I seriously love this. What are the dimensions? May I ask my husband to copy it? He has the skills...looks like a great Christmas present!

QuiltNama 09-05-2011 07:17 AM
