Really wonderful. And wonderful that you got it before it was gone. I have pictures of old barns and sheds from when I lived in GA someday I want to make a wall hanging out of them. I makes me sad that parts of history of a area is torn down to make way for more subdivisions etc.

I love your quilt! The border you added did wonders for tying nature together with your photo. Can I ask if you used any paint or colored pencils to enhance the sky? Also how large is the fininhed quilt. Great Job.

Beautiful Quilt. To be able to see the what it would look like on a quilt is exceptional.That old barn may not be around now but it will always be remembered in your quilt.

Deb, Your "fabric painting" is fantastic. Much better than any photograph. And the birds and butterfly in the border is the icing on the cake. I admire your creation. Hope the family or heirs got to see their old barn. Thanks for sharing.

That is so gorgeous, and your border is spectactular, I have a painting of my grandparents old farm house and the chicken coop and sheds, I wish I could make somthing like you did. Very creative
