I love that panel, think I could find it on the net? Of course, I wouldn't even attempt a quilt like this one but I'd love to have one of the panels to do something with.

If you can't find it, PM me and I'll get out the magazine and find the name of it for you. I checked where I got mine and didn't see it there. If there's a shop you like, just search for "panel." It's kind of springy, so it might be hard to find in December. I saw the same panel in a quilt shop, just backed and bound and then free-motion quilted around the lines of the flowers. It was pretty.

This is a work of art. I agree with the previous poster, your quilt is prettier than the one shown on the magazine. It's absolutely gorgeous to be sure!

PattyH 12-13-2010 03:49 AM

Yours is much richer looking with the black and dark tulip border than the white one in the picture. Love it!

Moonglow 12-13-2010 03:50 AM

Absolutely beautiful and very inspiring. You have a good eye for matching colours.

Me too, it's gorgeous! I don't know how you got all those little tiny borders to not be wavy. You should be very proud of yourself!

Well . . . the fact that there are so MANY borders helps stabilize it. If the little narrow ones were at the edge, they would definitely not look so good. Thank you for your kind words.

Beautiful quilt I love tulips.

Does anyone know what is going on with their show. Liz hasn't been on for sometime and now they are using BabyLoc machines.

anicra 12-13-2010 07:51 AM

What a stunning quilt. I like yours better than the F&P one. Just beautiful.

It seems as if I read on the board some time ago that they had sold the company and there were some changes. You might be able to find more info by doing a search on the board.
