I love your idea of a girlie quilt especially since she will be the only girl. I love the colours as they are and think that if you choose to continue with the same pink it will be stunning and if you change the pink to a darker shade it will be lovely too, perhaps it will have a more grown up feel to it?
Personally I would stick with the present pink and not change a thing. Pink is not my colour but I really do love your quilt as it is. It is charming. :thumbup: :D I go with everyone who says stay with your present lovely pink! |

A free quilt pattern comes with each bundle, but I'm not using one of their patterns here except in general to figure out how many rows and what size borders. I like looking at what they put together on that site - some combinations I wouldn't have thought of that I find I really like.
But ... looks different in a rolled up bundle than spread out on my cutting mat! Thanks again for all the suggestions. I still love the soft girliness, but will lay out more rows together on my Design Bed before I decide. |
I think it is so soft and pretty just as it is. Lovely for a baby girl.

Do you know what the baby girl's name will be? If so, it would be nice to write her name in fabric script across maybe the bottom corner of the quilt to personalize it. Here's a tutorial I did on how to do it. A dark green lettering would look nice.
