Gotta agree with those that like the fabrics as they are--nice and pastel and soft and girl-y. She's gonna have enough "POP" with 3 brothers. :O)

I would finish it just the way it is. Very girly. Sometimes there can be too much "stuff". No ruffle or ric rac.

I love your idea of the ric-rac and eyelet ruffle around the edge. That would give it some depth and keep it soft and sweet. You solved your own problem. It really is a beautiful quilt.

the white 1st border and a SMALL ruffle instead of binding get my vote. I'd avoid the brights & dark-you were going w/ the girlie, girl look, and you would lose it!

I think it's beautiful.

So the green isn't next to the green, etc. A narrow white strip as the first border is all I would change. I would bind it with that precious pink with the tiny dot. I adore it, soft and feminine with out any pop...

Agree, pop is good sometimes but not always. With three boys its probably time for something soft and soothing. :)

Very sweet and dainty........love it!

For babies I love the soft colors. I either do a bright quilt or soft pastel . I really don't care for the pop factor either.
