Hey ladies,
i am looking to see if there is another lady out there who can TOP MY STASH and machines.

scraphappytx 07-28-2011 04:25 AM

I cannot top that, but I would love to dig around and find some nice pieces...that's a dream come true..enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

debcavan 07-28-2011 04:27 AM

It is so organized. Wonderful.

There was a lady in Iowa who died. It took three days to auction off her stash. She had a barn.

sueisallaboutquilts 07-28-2011 04:29 AM

I love that blue and white quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D
Of course I love your stash too!!

What a great video. Love your stash and your machines.

bittersweet 07-28-2011 04:56 AM

Love your fabric choices and how you store them. On your machine on the quilting frame do you use a stitch regulator. I am wondering if I should invest in one to make my stitches perfect even though I do pretty good I would want them perfect if I sell any quilts

katesnanna 07-28-2011 05:00 AM

You certainly have an impressive stash but you may like to take a look at this stash :- Stashmanicure

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 05:13 AM

thank you for your feedback and compliment.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 05:15 AM

if you already have the skill to do your quilting without a stitch regulator, then i would suggest not to get one. the sure stitch is a $500 product.

CAJAMK 07-28-2011 05:15 AM

I watched the stash video and I have come to a conclusion....I thought I had a nice stash...I have a fraction of what you do!
I then watched your other videos...nice job...

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 05:16 AM

CAJAMK 07-28-2011 05:17 AM

Oh jeez I would be embarassed!! But hey if you are going to sell that juki & frame I may be interested!
You are a pro at stashing...me...a beginner who just spends too much money! But mine is organized..that I have to say

cjomomma 07-28-2011 05:21 AM

You have a lovely stash that makes mine seem to tiny.

frarose 07-28-2011 05:21 AM

Very nice storage systems. I have tons of fabric but my is not so neatly organized.

cjtinkle 07-28-2011 05:22 AM

You might have a bit more fabric than I do, it's hard to tell as mine is spread out in 3 different rooms... but I can definitely top your machines and accuquilt dies, LOL. You've got me beat hands down when it comes to organization though!

I enjoyed your video, it is always so much fun to see someone elses sewing room!

Annaquilts 07-28-2011 05:23 AM

Nice stash and you are so organized.

kkbrand 07-28-2011 05:30 AM

Ok I think you even top a fabric store! Where do you buy your bolts of fabric? Nice organiztion set up!

KathyAire 07-28-2011 05:44 AM

Nice stash. I love organization. I can never seem to get mine stuff 100% organized.
You are blessed that you have access to all that space.
I'd love to see pictures of the things that you produced, as well.

sweet 07-28-2011 05:52 AM

Nice n Neat!

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:08 AM

hello,
what is your budget as i just happen to be selling it. i am purchasing an 18" baby lock long arm with the pinnacle frame and accessories. i purchased the juki and frame in march, so its not even six months old. still under warrantee. let me know what your budget is and also, where are you located?

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:11 AM

i don't purchase fabric by the bolt. alot of my stash comes from gift certificates for xmas, birthday, valentine's day, anniversary and they all know that i love quilt shop fabrics. so i use the gift cards and buy at a minimum of 7 yards a pattern and the shops always give me the card boards for free. most shops just throw them away so i asked one day and found out that they don't use them at all.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:11 AM

thank you for the compliment.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:17 AM

i don't take pics of my quilts. not sure why. maybe i should. thank you for the thought.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:17 AM

thank you for the compliment.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:19 AM

i would love to see your stash. can you take video or pics and send to me?

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:20 AM

thank you for the compliment.

llcathey 07-28-2011 06:20 AM

wonderful room and all the goodies you could open a quilt store :)

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:20 AM

thank you for the compliment. gift cards helped me acquire most of it.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:21 AM

lol........you are right. but its a passion of mine to just create and give as gifts. thank you for the compliment.

bdship 07-28-2011 06:21 AM

Very impressive, can you come and organize mine next ?

bittersweet 07-28-2011 06:24 AM

Thank you for your comment. I have read alot of pros and cons on the stitch regulator the only place that I have very much trouble is on starting and stoping. My machine is a Juki but hopefully in a few years I can invest in a long arm. I just finished my first quilt it is king size whew lots of learning on that one.

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:30 AM

LOL.............all expenses paid?

born2bfree67 07-28-2011 06:32 AM

yes, my very first quilt was a queen size and it consisted of 80 blocks and each block had 16 pieces. i got very ambitious when it came to that......lol

I am going to post it when I get the matching curtains done. It measures about 135 in by 123 in big enough for fold over at top I decided against pillow shams. i really like the look very colorful and used up lots of scraps

phranny 07-28-2011 06:45 AM

Comparitvely speaking, my stash would equal a thread on your floor! Nice stuff, and so well organized.

Jammin' Jane 07-28-2011 06:51 AM

WOW! I thought I was in a quilt shop!
Nice stash...and great organization!
Have fun with it!
