For pockets: Using one "retired" towel, after the skirt portion has been cut from the towel, you could use the remainder for the bib and pockets, either on that apron or swap with another apron being made from another 'retired' towel. Love your aprons. Yrs ago I made some half aprons from printed cottons and sewed a small hand towel into the waistband on one side of the front. Great for wiping your hands while cooking. Thanks for sharing with us.

This is exactly what I need! I am always wiping my hands on my pants while looking for a towel. This is definitely on my to do list now. Thanks so much for posting these.

I used the measurements from the 30s apron 11" wide x 9"long for the bib. However, you can make it whatever size you'd like. I would recommend using a cheap towel(I got mine at Walmart on sale for 2 for $5 and I was able to get two aprons out of each towel (Christmas gifts). They are thinner and gather easier than the expensive ones.

The 30s apron did have a pocket made out of the same fabric that was used for bib and straps. I just didn't bother putting pockets on mine.
