This is a wallhanging I made several years ago for an exhibition. The quilt is 35 x 35", hand quilted and I used very traditional quilting patterns like roses, fans and flat iron. The thread is a few shades lighter than the fabric and I love the effect....I think one day I will use the same design in a queen size quilt.

That is such pretty quilt. What a great way to perfect your quilting stitches. My SIL is doing a wholecloth quilt and I can't wait to see it!

OMG! You definately were "born to hand quilt". I can't imagine how many stitches it took to quilt that. It's absolutely beautiful!
