I bought a pattern without the medallion and its called "curved log cabin". Haven't started it yet but yours is an inspiration. Absolutely beautiful. The recipient can't help but love it. Hope your DH feels better soon.

I love your choices of color, pattern and your placement of the applique in the center was brillent. Is there a proper name for this pattern?
