This is one of the prettiest patterns I have ever seen, and your colors and fabrics are perfect for it. When I showed it to my wife, she asked, "When are we going to make this?" We have 13 projects going on right now (literally), but apparently this is going high on the list after the Christmas and wedding gifts are completed.

Do you know where the pattern came from? I think we can put it together without a pattern, but it just makes me feel better to have something to go by. I'm going to go search for it right now.

Darren--after gcathie told me the pattern's name--one she got for free--I searched and searched for it with no luck. I even emailed the folks who sold the fabric and they said it was no longer available. Rats! :?

Here's the scoop about that green: I used mostly stash for this one, but needed green and it had to match perfectly... so while searching in my favorite Mennonite shop, I found it! But, when I pulled the bolt out it was this: see photo below. :D It was too perfect to not use, so I bought 2-3 yards (don't remember-it was long ago) and cut it into colors. I anticipated not having enough of the dark green, so decided to use the medium green to fill in. So--the stars in the corners have medium green through the middle both ways--but they're so close together, I don't think anyone would ever notice.

Now I have to figure out what to use for the binding.

Then on to finish the "scrappy watercolor floral log cabin."

Very striking quilt. I was amazed how different the close-up looked from the whole quilt. Your fabric choices were outstanding.

OOOoooohhhhhh!!! Karla, now I've caught the Park Bug! That is so beautiful that I want to make one too! And I love your fabrics too. It's as if you're walking outside just as Autumn has started to turn some leaves, when the air is as crisp as an apple!

What size are your blocks? Now I'm going to have to dig out my drafting paper! LOL

Beautiful job! As usual!
