Very pretty!!!!
I'm working on a gift for my niece. I'm waiting on two wonderfully generous ladies to send me two scraps I need and then hopefully I will be able to finish it quickly as her birthday was last week! Hugs |
I am working on a quilt that will leave me totally insane when I'm done. lol It's all half square triangles, over a 1000 of them, all done in 1930s prints and bleached muslin. Will post pictures when I make some progress on it. :)

Love those Civil War fabrics!!!! I am hand quilting a quilt done with Civil War fabrics, piecing the Underground Railroad quilt with Civil War fabrics and sewing the binding on my tiger Lilly quilt. Just bouncing back and forth between the three!
|
Love that Austin block! My son is named Austin! You're doing a beautiful job! I'm working on a mystery quilt kit that is titled "Spanish Tiles." Not to mention the 100+ other things I have started.

Sharon, I love CW repros and your quilt is great. Can't wait to see it with borders on it too.
I am working on the URR quilt with several others on the board (want to join us??) On my design wall I have Primitive Primer by Jan Patek. I have several quilts I am machine quilting and I am starting a chicken quilt for a friend with a birthday the middle of Sept. I never seem to finish anything because I keep bouncing back and forth between them all. |

I just finished two small projects. One is a red/black table topper for my dil's new table and her birthday next week. The other is a baby doll quilt I made from orphan blocks from a baby quilt I made a couple months ago.

Wow, Everyone has such pretty projects going! Tonight I am working on the binding of a quilt for my cousin. It will be their wedding gift. I just finish quilting it. Pictures soon! I am still attending a group for a BOM-Kaladoscope of Colors. We have several more months on that. I have a charity top that needs to be quilted. And I need to figure out a center block for the Round Robin. In my spare time-I need to make some school clothes for my niece. She attends a Christian school and their skirts have to be below their knee. Not much in the stores that long.
Guess I better get back to work-that sounds like a long list when I write it all out. PHEW! |
I would love to join the URR but I never got that book. I've quilted at least a half dozen for customers tho. They are so much fun to quilt.

Great work everyone! I love to see what others are working on. Right now I'm working on a quilt for my new granddaughter expected in November. I've got the top finished, now working on the back. It's taking a bit of planning cause I couldn't get enough of the fabric I wanted so I'm doing a pieced back. Will have to get some pics posted. . . hopefully soon.

I am working on a baby quilt. I found a 1/4 yard of circus fabric for .99 cents at a 2nd hand store. I designed this quilt around it. There are 9 of these circus stars.....then two borders one in the white and one in the red. The rainbow stripe fabric will probably be my binding.

Sharon: I love your scrappy quilt. Good job on getting all those points perfectt.
I'm working on a cat quilt for my cat. The top has been languishing on the dining room table for a couple of weeks while I decide how I want to quilt it. It's time to move along though because I want to start a quilt for my mom for a christmas gift. |

I am working on a scrappy bowtie quilt set in the circular pattern. It is out of 30's repros and I think I have cut 170 different fabrics all from my stash. 288 bowties for a queen sized quilt. The blocks are 6". It isn't a very challenging quilt but I think it will be pretty when it is done. I love the thirties fabrics.

Oh my all these projects are so beautiful!
I have to work on my button holes so I can wrap up the little girl's bonus dress I found. I seam ripped apart all my points on the red quilt I'm working on, they all need to be cut down and re sewed. FYI, always remember to double a pattern means you doubled the seam allowances, aka don't double something you have never made before. Oh and I'm playing with hexgons for an art quilt, but I haven't started sewing it yet. :D |

I'm working on a split 9 patch - it intrigued me so much I put everything else down for a while. Something tells me that as I keep working to get the patches laid out just right, I'll be working on it for a while too!

WOW Sharon that is so pretty!
I am still working on the flip-flop quilt for my granddaughter and have started cutting fabric for a quilt pattern called Little Cedar Tree. It's a pattern I found in a book that I checked out of the library called Marsha McCloskey's Quick Classic Quilts. Of course if I EVER get this so called "Quick" quilt done, I will post picture. I also have a wallhanging that needs a little more hand quilting and a string quilt top that needs borders put on...... WHY do I keep starting more projects when all of these other ones are still sitting here unfinished????? It's a million dollar question that has no answer! :!: :!:  |
Everyones projects are really pretty!!!  I love looking at the pictures of your work!!!

I'm working on EB's Grandmother's Flower Garden (the dimentional one)I've got 6 more blocks to do - the pansey, the morning glory and 4 roses. I tivo'd the episodes with the directions, and that made doing each one easier than just the directions in the book. So, I've got 12 done.
|
I am thinking about copying the one I saw the other day with the lions and leopards with lots of green.
I have one in progress that I call "Pipe Dream". Will send a pic when the top is done. Anne |

thanks for the comments everyone. Bevanger the block is just a variable star, with my fabric in the middle square.
I am including a pic of the design....As soon as I get the rest of the stars done I will add a pic of the real thing. Of course the fabrics are a little different, but you get the idea. |

Finally finished the top, queen size, now to try and quilt it. Had enough left to make a throw....for those power naps.
