Good choice. Nice quilt!

I will give you $30 for it! I love it!

I would have gladly paid $20 for this beauty, too :) :) :)

She obviously doesn't know the value of a quilt. Quick thinking on your part and this quilt deserves a good home where it will be treasured.

Lucky you. Enjoy your new found treasure. :)

I would have done what you did. It's a beautiful quilt. $40 was way too cheap for hand quilting. If non-quilter's only knew the time involved to hand quilt, they would know that $40 was a bargin!

Your quote was very fair. You got the best of the deal and once finished will have a beautiful quilt for so little. Congrats on a very wise decision:thumbup:

I'd have done the same in a heartbeat! Lucky you! The Log Cabin is my favorite pattern, although I haven't gotten around to making one of my own (yet).

I think I came out on top myself. I love the log cabin pattern. I have A UFO in the closet. But, I like these colors better than the one I started. Maybe I'll get it finished this year!!! Better yet, maybe I'll finish both of them. hehehe! I can't wait to show her the finished product.
