No doubt, I would have done the same thing you did. Pretty quilt, I love all the browns.

Very nice. I would have done what you did. You got a bargain I think!

Enough Said! Nice score by the way.

You did good! She had no appreciation of the effort that went into the piecing and quilting. With no appreciation, she would have used it like trash.

Cool!! It must have been meant for you... via her!

Good deal for you. Enjoy!

Did she expect you to quilt it for nothing? I think $40 was very good price and you were lucky to have been able to get it for $20. Her loss.

Now you can say "Mine All Mine" should this lady ever come around again. She truly didn't know what she had in her hands for $20.00 (a steal), and $40.00 for finishing this quilt was a bargain for her again. Some times people just don't know what they are doing and this is a prime example. I bet you could recoup your $20.00 plus $40.00 in a nats eye. Looks like a beautiful quilt and could be used in many different rooms.

I agree I would have done what you did. Beautiful

Oh yeah, that is worth $20.00.

I had a friend many years ago who said: "people know the price of everything and the value of nothing."
Sounds like you ran into one of those!
