I have the same pattern and collecting blues also. I should probably get buey and make it. I think I like the batik for the border. By the way nice job of doing it!!

Love it! I don't know about the binding I first thought the batik until I read the polka dot was the inside border. Do the batik and polka dot match in color? If so I'd use the batik.

It's beautiful. I think I would like a small border with the polka dot, the same size as the inner border then, a wider border with the batik. The darker color IMHO finishes it. Once again, it is beautiful.

Yours turned out fabulous!!!! How long did it take you? I have that and another of their patterns and can't decide red or blue on this one. I'm doing brown on the "over the hill to grandmother's house"....

I went to your blog and voted for the polka dots to go along with your inner boarder. I made the same quilt and it took me about 1 1/2 yrs but it is so worth it. You did a great job and I love your backing fabric.

I am always partial to batiks, and I think the color will make your embroidery pop
