I posted the start of this quilt with the batiks and received an overwhelming amount of compliments. I am now posting the picture with the center done. I am at a stand still currently with the inner board color. I was thinking, dreaming last night about it, a burgundy marble maybe and inch or inch and a half and then put the outer border with the burgundy as the binding. What do you think?

Awesome! I think the burgundy would look great!
I also dream about quilting, my kids think that I am nuts! |
Beautiful

very nice! they told me the dresden was a beginner block but it gave me fits. I have had so much trouble that I put it away and moved on. I will try again someday. I always ended up with a tiny teeny hole where the middle circle goes . . . sigh

This is absolutely stunning and the burgunday sounds perfect.. Keep up the good work...
Love the stripes and the color. Great job.

WOW - that is gorgeous. Love it. Beautiful job. I like the way everything lines up
Unfortunately, I don't have any insights on the boarder, but I love your quilt top and can't WAIT to see it quilted!
WOW !!

Once again I'm surprised at how much I love this quilt. I may have to quit saying I don't like batiks. You are converting me with your great quilt.
You did a wonderful job. I think any color you choose would look great. blossom
Beautiful Quilt. I think you idea for the border would be great. Those darn quilting dreams are what cause me to ditch one project and start another one.
That is so very beautiful.
I think the burgandy would look nice, but I think the blue would really make it pop!
What and awsome job!!
don't give up on the dresden plate that you started (for the person who put hers away). Just go on line and watch some youtube on dresden plate construction. I like Missouri quilt company's video.
This is very Beautiful. How are you going to quilt it and what color boarders? Very nice Job
Your quilt is coming along beautifully! Can't wait to see the quilting you decide to do....lot's of space to show off! I think any of the colors in your quilt would be wonderful. Whatever you choose makes your quilt that color because it pulls out those colors in the dresdens.
Beautiful !! :-)
Glad to see Im not the only one that dreams of quilting. :)

Beautiful quilt. I think you have a lot of choices for borders.

All I can say is Wow! What a beautiful quilt top. Love the way you lined everything up. Yes to the burgandy border.
I have many many of those striped batiks myself. Just how hard did you have to work to 'line up' the stripe for that circle look or did it happen naturally? It's so pleasing to the eye.
Wow! Very bright!! :)
Beautiful quilt and your border ideas sound perfect! :-)
Beautiful - I agree with your choices for borders.
this is beautiful, I'm working on a black/white one and some brown blades to turn into a turkey for Isabella
